Lisa contacted a REActor asking to help her with a refusal in medical service provision. A gynecologist in the oblast hospital refused to perform laparoscopic surgery for ectopic pregnancy and insulted the girl by making insinuations about her HIV status.
The REActor consulted Lisa and explained to her all the mechanisms of protecting her rights. In addition, the girl was proposed assistance in obtaining medical care. Together with the client, the REActor visited the Head of the Oblast AIDS Center to discuss this issue. The doctor promised to take this case under her personal control. The surgery was performed free of charge due to the call to the Ministry of Health hotline.
