Recently, Lviv became a hub of intensive work within the REAct project. The regional coordinator\u2019s technical support visit covered the activities of partner organizations \u201c100% Life\u201d and VOLNa Lviv, which work with representatives of key communities in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work was conducted separately with each team and area of focus. Throughout the day, current challenges were reviewed, client cases were discussed, and action algorithms and coordination mechanisms were aligned. The focus was on strengthening the quality of human rights protection and on practical solutions that can be implemented immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n

Special attention was paid to working with the REAct database to minimize common errors in documenting human rights violations. Numerous meetings were also held with clients and professionals, including those working at opioid substitution therapy (OST) sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This format makes it possible to see the situation not only at the level of reporting, but also in the real context of daily work. Each case represents a concrete story of protecting rights, ensuring access to treatment, and preventing discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the cases addressed during the visit helped to timely prevent serious legal consequences for a client \u2014 a serviceman enrolled in an OST program who has a chronic illness. Thanks to prompt coordination, his right to uninterrupted treatment was upheld and the risk of criminal liability was avoided. This story will later be presented separately as an example of effective practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The REAct project is implemented by the Alliance for Public Health with a financial support from the Global Fund<\/p>\n\n\n\n
