Guide to ensure shelter, psychosocial and legal services for women who use drugs and experience violence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A guide <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/harmreductioneurasia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Help-Impossible-to-Ignore_ENG.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Help impossible to ignore<\/a> <\/strong>is developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/harmreductioneurasia.org\/ru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eurasian Harm Reduction Association<\/a> in Russian and <a href=\"https:\/\/harmreductioneurasia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Help-Impossible-to-Ignore_ENG.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">English<\/a> language to provide guidance for professionals working in both governmental and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) offering comprehensive care for women who use drugs and experience gender-based violence (GBV). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guide is also intended for use by organisations involved in harm reduction, HIV prevention, treatment, care and support, and by those that undertake to address and respond to gender-based violence against women. It also provides useful information for planning group-specific events and services aimed at reducing gender-based violence against women within the framework of national and international programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Webinar on police response to GBV toward women using drugs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 16, 2021 EHRA hosted webinar for law enforcement representatives &nbsp;on police response to domestic\/ intimate partner violence among women who use drugs.&nbsp;<strong>The aim of the webinar<\/strong>&nbsp;was to build capacity and knowledge about effective police approaches in provision of help and protection to women using drugs in case of domestic and intimate partner violence. The webinar was attended by police representatives from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Romania, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Belgium, Russian Federation, Serbia, Estonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Report and a webinar recording is available <a href=\"https:\/\/old.harmreductioneurasia.org\/webinar-on-police-response\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whach below an <strong>animated video summarizing key problems of GBV in life of women using drugs and challenges in receiving services<\/strong> \u2013 in English.
